New Beginnings...

It's been a long and hard year and half for me, I was down to 150 lbs. in June 2013 almost at my goal weight of 145 lbs. but due to health issues by Dec after 2 rounds of steroids for my uncontrollable headaches I was up to 175 lbs. It's crazy how hard it is to come off and how easy it is to come back on. During 2014 it was an uphill battle, between the headaches, the carpal tunnel and several flare ups of my IBS, along with other tummy issues, the weight just kept creeping on, I went from the 175 to 198, it hurts to actually say that. You would think with all the tummy issues I had I would of lost a ton of weight but of coarse not my body was holding on to it for dear life, or so it seems to me anyway. So here I am Jan 2015 a new year, starting over again, just finished a 2 week round of antibiotics for a bacteria they found in my tummy that if not killed could lead to stomach cancer and other things, finally feeling somewhat normal, as long as I don't eat anything to heavy that is... ShakeO continues to be a HUGE part of my life, after all its approved by my general doctor and my gastro and its been a lifesaver when I cant eat anything else, and today I am officially starting Les Mills PUMP again the BB program that gave me the BEST results, going back to what worked for me. Not making any drastic goals or resolutions this year, just to make it through each week, day by day, week by week and trust God to get through the year. I guess I do have a goal, not so much to lose the weight anymore but to be healthy again, so tired of all the meds and health issues I've had to deal with this past year. My workouts are not just exercise they are my ME time, my therapy and boy do I need them... Here is to a new year! Lets keep each other accountable. Putting P90X3 on HOLD!

So after starting restarting and then trying to restart again P90X3 without much success, I've decided I'm going to put it on hold for now. Due to my health issues I haven't been able to get through an entire week of the program. I am so disgusted with my weight right now, I do not like who I am seeing in the mirror. I know there are so many factors involved but bottom line is I need to find ME again. I have been with BB since Feb 2010, in that time I have pretty much tried every program we have and my soul mate workout the 1 that really made a difference in ME was Les Mills PUMP and that was with me only really working out 3 days a wk with Cardio 2 days a week sometimes. It was the only program I could manipulate around my health issues and still gave me results, with it I managed to lose a total of 42lbs so I have decided starting next week I'm going back to what worked. LMP here I come, I need to lose this extra weight I want to be 160lbs by my birthday in July, and down to 145lbs by the end of the year. Right now I'm back at 175lbs that's the heaviest I've been in over a year and I FEEL it. The new meds are working, my headaches are under control, the numbness in my hands comes and goes another reason I want to go back to LMP, its much easier to work with the barbell than it is with dumbbells with my hands not working right. So starting next week its date nights with LMP 3 days a wk, Mons, Wed and Fri's, Touch it Fitness boot camp on Sat's and the gym on the weekend with my love and when I feel up to it I'll add LMC on Tues and Thurs for my Cardio. I'm not going to push it to much going to take it week by week, day by day, but I'm ready!!! Going to do a recovery week this week, throw in a little bit of this and a little bit of that... KIA KAHA! New year, new chapter in my health and fitness journey!

Yesterday I started P90X3, wow, to be honest I am disappointed in myself, after losing over 70lbs with various BB programs and ShakeO due to life issues, health issues etc. I've gained back 20lbs. I see it, I feel it and I'm ready to make a change. Its funny I started my journey back in 2010 weighing over 200lbs. with P90X, I lost about 20lbs, tons of inches and had to modify big time due to a fractured foot that happened by a freak accident taking my son to a soccer tournament. I moved on to various programs but the 1 that made the BIG difference for me was Les Mills PUMP followed by Combat, Les Mills is my soul mate program, with it I almost reached my ultimate goal of getting down to 140lbs, I got down to 153lbs from 170lbs. I completed T25 and loved it because of the time factor, 25 minutes yea who doesn't have time for that, I lost inches and a few lbs., but with everything going on in my life I gained what I lost right back plus some. So much has happened in my life in the last 6 months, I am not complaining, I am happy, I'm working again in a job I love, the love of my life and I got back together again, my middle son shipped out to Japan, so proud to call myself a Marine mom, miss him tons, getting ready to send out my oldest to the Airforce in March and dealing with teenage issues with my youngest who started HS this year. I am ready to start on my new health and fitness journey. My goal this year is to reach my goal of 140lbs, I am starting the new year with a new challenge to myself and a new program P90X3. Now that I am working again and I am short on time, you can't beat 30 mins. My goal with round 1 of P90X3 is to get back to 153lbs, where I was at the end of Combat and then I plan to dive into Body Beast or the 21 day fix or do another round of P90X3, not sure yet, but I know that by the end of 2014 I will be at my goal, NO EXCUSES... Fitness is a LIFESTYLE not a FAD...

I started my health and fitness journey in Feb 2010 after years of struggling with my weight and trying everything possible, I was 20 lbs away from getting gastric bypass surgery. I went to see a surgeon and I was told I should try to do it the natural way, I contemplated gaining the 20 lbs to qualify for the surgery. I was fed up and disgusted and I turned to P90X, a few months later the scale was going down slowly, I decided to add Shakeology and that was my REAL turning point, after that every week I saw progress. There were times I had to stop my workouts because of all my health issues but I never stopped drinking Shakeology and slowly over the next 3 years I went from weighing 220 lbs to 150 lbs where I am today. I am a product of Shakeology and the BB fitness programs. I'm grateful for the day I decided enough was enough and turned to BB, I now realize its not a fad but a lifestyle and 1 I will be on for the rest of my life... BB changed my life so profoundly that I became a BB Coach to help others reach their goals and change their lives the way BB changed mines, being a BB Coach has been the best decision I've ever made, it has kept me accountable, on track with my own health and fitness journey and given me an avenue to help others and find my passion. Its given me a whole new family of like minded people that help me, support me, push me and are there for me all the time and has helped me make money doing what I love... BB ROCKS period, thank you to everyone that has supported me through all my ups and downs in my health and fitness journey, my goal is to help as many people as I can along the way and 1 day be able to do this full time...

So close to reaching my goal...

Today I am starting a new 30 day challenge group and Im restarting round 2 of Les Mills PUMP because I had to stop due to severe headaches my workouts, but thanks to Shakeology and portion control I am down to 160lbs, the smallest I have been in over 2 years, I am so excited I cant believe how close I am to reaching my goal of 145lbs thanks to the BB programs and nutrition. Becoming a BB coach and comitting to being an example has changed my life, and now thanks to LMP it has changed my body, I have never seen such amazing results, I am smaller, stronger, and feel better in my body than I have in a very long time, LMP is def my fave program because its given me RESULTS, I love the schedule, I love the music, I love the workouts I love everything about it, its the best of both worlds, weights and cardio, and I love the additional DVD LMP Combat its a kick ass kickboxing cardio workout that Im doing on my cardio days instead of walking, I can see my biceps, I can see my hamstrings, I can see my abs, I have more definition now than I did in my teens, and the ladies in my challenge group are such a joy, its an awesome way to help others and yourself stay acountable and make changes together, I cant thank BB enough for helping me turn my life around and help others do the same, when I started my journey I was 210 lbs I went down and back up for over 2 years and this year since March thanks to LMP I am finally down to 160lbs and only 15lbs away from my goal of 145lbs, and I feel great, its a great feeling to smile when you look in the mirror and like who is looking back at you... Thank you BB, LMP, Shakeology and everyone in the team BB fams, this is a great family to belong to, real people helping real people make changes, thats what its all about... Yosie

30 days in...

It has now been 30 days on Les Mills PUMP, tomorrow I start week 5 and I have lost a total of 9lbs and 11 inches, Im finally back in the 170s, weigh in today 179lbs, its been challenging and rewarding, I really love this program and the freedom it gives me, I get to get PUMPED 3 times a week and go to the gym to do Cardio/ABS 2 to 3 times a week, its a win/win for me and those that like me like going to the gym, this gives you the best of both words, home workouts and going to the gym, plus its a great program to have especially on those days that YOU DO NOT feel like working out, I learned something from Chalene Johnson she says when you dont feel like working out press play and if 5 mins later you still do not feel like working out turn it off but 9 out of 10 times you will get your workout in, thats so true cuz on days like that if I have to change, get in my car and drive to the gym, guess what Im not going, its much easier to press play and get it in... Tomorrow starts Phase 2, my next 30 day challenge and the next 4 weeks of PUMP, so looking forward to what this next phase brings, in my 1st 30 day challenge the girls did awesome they all stayed for this 1 and a few more jumped on the wagon, its about a group of ladies working together and holding each other accountable to our health and fitness, its an awesome way for all of us to reach our goals... LETS GO! http://yosiefitness4life.com

It has now been 2 weeks on the Les Mills PUMP program and I am completely in love with it, I am on DVD #2 Pump n Burn and boy does it burn, Im doing over 120 squats and today for the 1st time I was able to get through the whole routine without stopping, what an amazing feeling... I am down 5 lbs and 8.5 inches, the girls in my 30 day challenge group are doing amazing too, we are all making progress in our health and fitness journey...What I love the most about this program is that in reality its a 3 day a week program, I do the Les Mills PUMP barbell routines on Mon, Wed and Fri, then Tues and Thurs and sometimes on the weekends, I add Cardio and ABS at the gym, so I to get to workout with my honey and help him with his clients too, so with this program I get the BEST of both worlds a GREAT HOME workout with room to go to the gym too. My health is doing well, thank God, its been a good 2 weeks, no pain, a headache here and there but nothing major, and thanks to my workouts, Shakeology and portion control I can see a light at the end of the tunnel again... Next Update in 2 weeks at the 30 day point in this 90 day program, LETS GO!
